Ruggedized, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Receiver |
Duro is a ruggedized multi-band, multi-constellation centimeter-accurate GNSS receiver |
Features |
Duro is the product of a co-development process between two great companies. It has been built with Swift Navigation’s centimeter-accurate GNSS technology combined with Carnegie Robotics’ proprietary pose filter. Duro is an enclosed rugged version of the Piksi Multi RTK GNSS receiver with an inertial measurement unit that allows for continuous multi-band, multi-constellation, centimeter-accurate positioning. GNSS technology adopted in the manufacture of Duro converts signals from visible satellites into a position on Earth. |
Duro is built with a military-level ruggedness that Carnegie Robotics products are renowned for along with reliability and ease of integration. Due to its toughness, Duro is ideal for long-term deployment in robotics, precision agriculture, maritime and autonomous vehicles, infrastructure mapping, and outdoor industrial applications. |
Integration |
Duro embodies military hardware design principles that create an easy to deploy IP67-rated receiver. Its M12 connectors are sealed with industrial standards to protect against harsh conditions including, dust, vibration, sunlight, temperature, and moisture. No external sealing is required when deploying Duro even in the most extreme environments. By supporting a variety of interfaces including, CAN, Ethernet, and RS232, Duro is easily integrated into existing applications. |
Accuracy |
Duro leverages RTK GNSS technology to provide centimeter-level accuracy that is 100 times greater than the conventional GPS solution, at a fraction of the cost. The technologies used to deliver a continuous and robust positioning system for various applications, even when there is little to no GNSS visibility. Duro’s level of accuracy makes it ideal for deployment in applications that require precise location positioning at all times. |
Multiple signal bands and constellations enable fast convergence time to high precision mode. Duro delivers a high precision solution within seconds as compared to RTK systems that take much greater time to converge. This speed allows for faster times to first fix (TTFF) and requisition time. |
